Ebay offers dedicated section for fashion,

Online retailer eBay has launched a dedicated fashion gallery section.

In an effort to address the current demand for online clothing, eBay has officially launched a dedicated "home" for its latest fashion section, showcasing the latest buys direct from 28 Australian and international brands. Flaunting the tagline, 'Smart shopping is now in fashion,' the eBay "Fashion Gallery", as it's termed, provides consumers with 24/7 access to a mix of premium and high-street labels such as Alannah Hill, Witchery, Mimco and Diesel.

"Picture a department store," the fashion gallery says, "now take away all of those annoyances. The pushy salespeople, the queues to get into the queues, the buggy brigade…and take the prices down while you're at it."
The best bit? Fashion gallery shoppers will know exactly when to expect delivery and what kind of condition their item is in - these wares come direct from the clothing houses with a 100% authenticity guarantee.

"Clever consumers can now easily mix and match new local and international fashion finds while still getting the great deals they expect from eBay businesses," explains spokesperson Jo-Ann Hicks.
According to eBay, 58% of Australians are set to increase their online spending over the next six months compared to the previous half year.

"Fashion sales on eBay have grown 24% YoY with a fashion item sold every 3.5 seconds," said Hicks, who adds that Australian consumers have long demanded easier access online to the fashion brands.
"It's incredibly exciting to offer those brands direct through the new Fashion Gallery on eBay."
