Twilight Bridal by Alfred Angelo

Yes, you read the title right. And if you're a Twilight fanatic, you're already aware of the upcoming fantasy wedding to be featured in the new Twilight movie being released in November. Recently, Alfred Angelo made the announcement that they will be the official licensed manufacturer of Bella Swan's bridal dress from the movie. The dress will be priced under $1000 and available in a multitude of sizes.

While everyone wonders what the gown will look like, unfortunately no information is being released until the movie opens in theaters. Shortly after, Alfred Angelo will release their version of Bella's dress in all Alfred Angelo Signature stores and independent retailers worldwide.

Until then, we are left to wonder and anxiously wait for the release, with fan-made teasers tugging at our patience. Here's the official trailer for the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 1.

Custom Bridal Hangers

It's safe to say to no wedding would be complete without a touch of personalization to reflect the Bride and Groom. These details are what set each wedding apart from the next and harness the beauty of the wedding industry. With that being said, a Bride's wedding dress is truly a staple of the day and they spend months if not years trying to find it. Photographers love to feature the dress and it's embellishments in their photographs. Let's be honest, you'll be glad they did as the dress gets packed away and all that remain at hand are those photos.

Recently, I've noticed a new found love for custom bridal hangers and frankly, I love them too! Etsy offers a variety of different hangers with options for customizing or simply put "I Do" or "Bride". These wooden hangers serve as great keepsakes and can also be given to your bridesmaids as gifts too!

Photographers will swoon over your custom hanger and your dress will look fabulous hanging from it! What's not to love about this customizable detail?

Couture Bridal Bouquets

A bridal bouquet is such a staple of any wedding. It should reflect the bride's personality and match the overall theme of the day. These days, brides are looking for alternatives to make every aspect of their day personalized and unexpected, not to mention saving money!

We absolutely love flowers! Who doesn't? But let's be honest, your bridal bouquet is something you'll want to save and cherish for years to come. Flowers are quick to dry up and require a lot of care and upkeep. Wouldn't it be nice to have a fantastic bouquet that will last a lifetime? We've recently fallen in love with the creative works of Emplume. Their vision for a fashion-forward, unique alternative to standard bouquets is impressive and a wonderful detail for any bride's must have list.

Everything from bouquets, garters and ring pillows are made from the finest materials and real preserved flowers and foliage. Feathers and sparkly gems are used throughout the bouquets for a whimsical and chic look. We just can't get enough of these bouquets!

Love in Watercolor: A New design concept

We've seen the ever popular themes and design concepts come, go and some reinvented. Finally we can say we've found a new design idea that's fresh, inviting and makes us just a little more anxious for Spring!!

Most of us are familiar with watercolors when it comes to art or the nostalgic "paint-by-numbers" masterpieces that graced our parents refrigerators. Who would have thought that such an inspirational and influential color palette could grace the elegant tables and reception decor of today's brides? Bring the beauty of art into your wedding decor and let your guests be inspired by it's unforgettable design.

Hottest Wedding Trends for 2012

We couldn't help but share this amazing article on the hottest wedding trends for 2012! Are you incorporating any of these into your special day?

Courtesy of: Bridal Guide

Want to get a headstart on your wedding planning in the New Year? We've got an exclusive sneak peek at the best new trends from A-list celeb party pros.

1. Incorporate Color Into Your Gown

At New York Bridal Fashion Week, we saw gorgeous gowns in a variety of hues, from pink to icy blue to black for 2012. If you're dead-set on wearing a white dress, you can still find ways to include a pop of color in your bridal ensemble.

"Consider asking your seamstress to sew your favorite colorful fabric to your wedding dress' crinoline petticoat; as you walk down the aisle, everyone will catch glimpses of your favorite color beneath your long white gown," said Preston Bailey.

2. Photo Finish

You may have heard of brides and grooms renting photo booths, but "back drops" (where guests use a variety of props and backgrounds to take snapshots) are an emerging trend.

The possibilities are endless-planner Bryan Rafanelli suggests individual handheld photo frames in a variety of colors, a favorite quilt, or setting up in front of a great architectural element at your venue.

3. Go Natural

Hearty flowers in subdued hues and even trees (see: Royal Wedding Ceremony) add a clean, fresh feel to your fête. Rafanelli recommends miniature calla lillies in white, green, lavender, or brown for receptions outdoors.

4. Mix, Match and Miniaturize

Smaller centerpieces will reign supreme in 2012, especially in multiple container shapes and sizes. Consider a combination of exotic flowers mixed with the classics (roses, orchids, calla lillies) to add a modern feel to your wedding décor.

"Tight bunches of hot pink carnations in square containers, coupled with orchids in another holder can look great, even with mini English roses in another container. It's all about balance," said Rafanelli.

Also don't be afraid to mix a couple of vibrant colors ("Tangerine Tango" was revealed as the new Color of the Year by Pantone). This eye-catching aisle was created by Nikki Khan.

5. The Truck Stops Here

The food truck revolution caught our attention this past year, and experts predict that it's going to pick up steam in the coming months.

"Old-fashioned ice cream trucks, crème brûlée trucks or even bacon trucks offer a fun addition to the end of the night or the after party," said Sasha Souza.

For the Love of Luxe

When it comes to wedding decor, some choose a chic and fashionable style. Others choose the "going green" approach, and some just work around a color palette. While the good majority of us find the simplistic beauty in these themes, we occasionally salivate over the elaborate and breathtaking decor of celebrity weddings. Event designers such as Preston Bailey, David Tutera, Colin Cowie and Marcy Blum have wowed us with their expertise in transforming a simple, average space into an event venue that would make any bride quiver with excitement and lust.

Today's post is dedicated to the "eye candy" of event decor. After all....a girl can dream can't she?

Who is your favorite celebrity event designer? Do you have a favorite picture of their work? We'd love to see it!
